I first earned my Associates degree in Business Administration, where I worked for several years. I soon realized that I wanted to follow my heart, which has since led me to design. I made the choice to follow my heart and obtain my Bachelor's of Interior Design where I graduated with high honors.

 

My experience comes from the Portland, Oregon area. It is here, where I have a gained a tremendious amount of  knowledge in the Hospitality sector of design, where I have been for over two years.

 

My experience goes beyond design itself. I attend client meetings, prepare presentations, work hand in hand with architects, contractors and sales representatives. I have been involved in all the phases of design, from site surveys, schematic design to costruction documents. I handle everything from daily tasks that keep an office running efficiently, Auto CAD, FF&E specifications to Photoshop.

 

Being a good designer requires one to have an open mind and approach each project uniquely. As a designer I strongly believe in incorporating a concept, as every decision I make will have a purpose and a place. The client comes first; their needs, wants, understanding how their business functions, as well as their aesthetic. Knowing how to incorporate this information into a safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing space is an art. As an Interior Designer I truly love what I do. Impacting one's feelings and emotions through the built environment is a great achievement.
